POTW

I found this at michaelfassbender.org a couple weeks back. It's a very handsome, gothic picture of Michael. And over at Empire Online, they ask if Michael could play Flash Gordon. What do you think? I want him to be in a vampire film - not so keen on comic heros. But hey, whatever pays the rent eh?

Oh and Dezmond dear, in regards to your comments about Michael's beauty regimen, me and Maura joyfully came to his defence ;-), may I refer you to John Barrowman's comments a few days ago at the Daily Mail about men and their vanity:

The actor and singer, who has just released a new album, admitted in 2008 that he used Botox to maintain his wrinkle-free complexion.

He said he had the toxin injected around his eyes to banish the creases.

He said: 'I don't swear by it, but I think it's quite good. The key is to not do the forehead. Men need forehead lines and doing the forehead makes you look like Nicole Kidman!

'If you're going to do anything, just do it round the eyes, that's all men need.'

Fass has a lot of lines on his forehead...wonder how he'll look if he gets botoxed...

:))))) yes but John Barrowman never had such deep lines as Michael has.
I must admit Barrowman always looks stunning and very very young.

Commenting like this on someone's appearance like you have done is not the point of this blog. It is about following Michael Fassbender's career.

Michael is FINE the way he is (afterall, I met the man in the flesh). People expect celebrities to have an unnatural unobtainable (ergo, unhealthy too) form of Hollywood "beauty". It's ridiculous, demanding, and rude.

Michael has received unfair criticism for not seeking out false ways of enhancing his already handsome attributes.

By placing John Barrowman's timely comments in this post today was to demonstrate the point I made previously about Michael not needing any botox or other cosmetic treatment.

Additionally, although Fassinating Fassbender was created to wholly support Michael's career, I do believe in free expression from readers and when I feel like expressing an opinion in defence of Michael, I will post it.

It's all good. Carry on. :)

So many worthy actors and actresses passes before the eyes - they completely lose their face in the pursuit of eternal youth and they unable to express any emotion on a screen...
Michael is great the way he is... He's a real one and he resists thoughtless glamour world...
We comes here (on this blog) not for nothing, we talk about films and amazing Michael's roles and with reflections about a wrinkles you definitely came to the wrong door...

He would make for one INCREDIBLE vampire!!! I'm not sure about the whole Flash thing(and I LOVE comics) but I think he'd be better suited as the American Crusader.

I just love, LOVE vampire/Dracula and if Michael were ever to star in a vampire movie, it would be epic. He has the sexy euro evil thing to a T.
