Centurion release is upon us!

I found these outtakes from the Blackbook December '09 article today at Getty images, they are a sight for sore eyes these days. As you can tell, there hasn't been much to update FF on, and the breather has been good for me. But I'm hopeful that as Centurion premieres in the UK on April 23rd, just next week, that we get some fresh fun news about Michael Fassbender.

Meanwhile, if you are in North Carolina for the Actionfest film festival, Centurion will screen today, Friday, at 2pm. If you are attending, your comments about the film and the festival would be greatly appreciated. I don't know if Michael will be in attendance, I doubt it, but it would be nice to hear about the film's reception at the festival.

Here is more info about the Actionfest:

ActionFest brings Chuck Norris, high-energy movies to Asheville

Of all the festivals and entertainment events scheduled here this spring, ActionFest is unique.

t's the only place to find two dozen high-octane action films (including many premieres), action film icon Chuck Norris (live and in person) and a dude flying a real, honest-to-James Bond rocket belt (see Page 4).

ActionFest runs through Sunday with screenings at the Carolina Asheville cinemas. A festival-closing event will be at The Orange Peel club, 101 Biltmore Ave., where Norris will be presented with ActionFest's first Lifetime Achievement Award for contributions to action cinema.

Films include “Centurion,” a warring Roman swords-and-sandals epic starring Michael Fassbender of “Inglourious Basterds” fame. Other world premieres are the action-comedy “Operation: Endgame” with Zack Galifanakis, Rob Corddry, Ving Rhames and Emilie De Raven; “The Stranger” with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and the prison boxing drama “Undisputed III: Redemption.”

Norris films on the schedule include “Braddock: Missing in Action III” and “Code of Silence.”
