Always...ALWAYS!!! happy to see one more version of JANE EYRE. Having Fassbender as Rochester is just icing on the cake. (((YUMMM))). Will probably take the day off to see this. No joke.

I cannot wait to see this. I'm very impressed with the 2006 version with Toby Stephens, he was HOT! I wanted to laugh at Fassy when he asked 'Jane' if she found him handsome and she said no. What a crock. LOL! I'm going to have to watch 'Sin Nombre' soon, it's been in my netflix queue for months now. I need to see what Cary Fukunaga is capable of... but based on that trailor, Eyre is going to be fantastic!

Well Simone...I have learned the preferred Rochester is usually based on which one you saw first. In 1944 Orson Welles played Rochester and I know people who swear by the greatness of his portrayal. My 'first' Rochester is Timothy Dalton from a 1983 BBC series that runs 311 minutes. Keep in mind I am fan of Dalton, Stephens and Fassbender in equal measure. However, since I see some of myself in Jane I find Rochester to be swoon worthy no matter the actor. However I must admit that Welles' Rochester left me cold. Still I am a sucka for a historical drama and Fassbender is just more reason to get excited.
