In all of Michael Fassbender's films, never has information or pictures of his character been so damn secretive like his role in X-Men, I hope to God this is not a sign that this film will sucketh (no fault to his own of course). But whenever a film studio is so quiet about the filming of a highly anticipated film, it means that something is amiss and they ain't very happy about its potential box office vitality. After half a century of waiting, today, 20th Century Fox finally released this shabby photoshop image of the primary mutants of First Class. With the exception of seeing his holiness Michael right in front, on the left side, this first peek is anti climatic, crowded, and small. It's as if they're hiding something and were hesitant to release even this.

Ok, I'll stop bitching, but I'm just tired from my Atlanta trip, which went well, but it was still stressful and tiring. A new semester of college starts and I have a longer commute to my job due to the promotion, so you'd think I would be grateful for this drop of water that the production company presented to us today. All I gotta say is, it's about damn time!

Anyway, in other news, I will be making some changes here on the front page of FF, cleaning up the sidebar, retiring some polls and removing other info that's no longer relevant. By now, Michael should be in New York working on 'Shame' with Steve McQueen, and since they both love each other, perhaps they will be more vocal to the media on the progress on this latest filming adventure. And perhaps we'll see photos of Michael walking around NYC; a city he told me he loves so much. I hate it when it's quiet in Fassyland, it's such a lovely distraction from the real world when we have regular updates on the lad.

Also, a big thank you goes out to Heidi for her kind comments in the Guestbook, I really appreciate it! And btw friend, you might want to consider going to TIFF this year - just FYI ;-). And due to my longer commute and longer working hours, I reckon I need to invest in a netbook so that I can keep an eye on Fassy developments while at the teashop, and update FF as quickly as I can. I hope to buy one in a couple of weeks.
