Jane Eyre Featurette

The nice lady from Focus Features emailed me again to inform me of the Jane Eyre featurette that has interview bits from Michael, Mia, and Carl Fukunaga, the director. And there are many shots of scenes that we haven't seen yet until now. And you know what, it looks like I won't be able to see Jane Eyre for many weeks because it's not coming to Michigan until at least two weeks after the initial "limited engagement". WTH? Times like this, along with the snow, makes living in Michigan suck. So I don't know when I'll actually see it, this just isn't fair.

Meanwhile, check out the featurette and if you're lucky enough to live in the cool places that is always treated to limited screenings, enjoy the film on Friday and let the rest of us know what you thought of it.

In other news, Chele Belle found an old commercial clip of Michael. Cripe, he must have been just 20 years old, he looks so young. If I recall correctly, I remember reading an article a long time ago about him talking about filming a commercial where he had to just wear a sock, and it wasn't on his foot. LOL! I knew immediately where that lucky sock was placed and have always wanted to see that commercial, well... here it is at Youtube. It is for SAS, an airline company. Be warned, it's NSFW.

ps. As per the new poll, it warms my heart to see so many kind, compassionate people willing to be his friend or at least help the man with his problem. But I knew that the skanks would prevail!

pps. Thanks to Don and Leigh for signing the Guestbook with your supportive comments!

I feel your pain. I live in North Dakota so it is unlikely that I will get a chance to see it soon, unless it's playing in Fargo. I work at a movie theatre, so I know how hard it is to get these limited films, but my boss knows how much I want this film, and she's pushing for it! It looks great and we're all excited for it! If I find it playing in Fargo, I will be there in a flash, and tell you all about it upon my return! Keep plugging away, fellow Fassy fans!

My fassy convert friend Laurie did some research for me, and it will show at a theater close to me on March 25th.

March 25th?

The hell? I have a job to do, I have to see this movie so I can review this thing. Dang!
