The New York Jane Eyre Premiere

I found a few more pictures of Michael courtesy of Life.com. Based on reports from last night, 'Jane Eyre' is receiving good reviews and fans of this Charlotte Brontë novel and Michael will be pleased. As some lucky people will be able to take advantage of the limited release and watch it as early as Friday, the nationwide reviews and interviews of the film will continue to roll out slowly throughout the month, so I have created a separate link on the top right sidebar for you to click on to read the latest.

In addition to that, a Fassinator brought to my attention an image she found at a fashion discussion board of the April 'W' issue which features Michael and Mia. 'W' is a lovely magazine, it's on the large size, but it tends to have great fashion and very good articles. I haven't purchased one in a long time, but I will buy this issue for sure. And if the inside article pictures are as gorgeous as the cover, we're in for a treat! And remember, this is just the beginning of Michael taking over the media this year. Unlike his fears, we will not get "Fassbendered out". Hell naw!

As side note, Mia is really growing on me. She's such a pretty girl and I saw her work in 'Alice in Wonderland' and 'The Kids are All Right' recently, and she's a great actress. It pleased me greatly to see how she presented herself at the premiere in NY, dressed so chic and pretty and decent. Not scantily dressed like so many of her peers - dying for attention. Michael's right, Mia may be on her way to being her generation's Meryl Streep. The maturity and confidence she conveys is a warm welcome.

She is very lovely. She reminds me a little of Cate Blanchett, and might be well on her way to that fine actresses' ranks! I am so proud of Michael and all his success! I am going out of town to see this movie and I will let you know what other people there say! Thank you for bringing this magazine article to our attention. Rest assured, I shall be buying a copy.

Have you seen Jane Eyre yet Jenny? what did you think of it?

I think you're right, Mia is like Cat Blanchett and she is on her way to a similar career projection.

No, sadly. I had hoped it would be showing closer to me, but unfortunately not. It's in Chicago this weekend, and Toronto! I'm still holding out for it. Many of my friends already have this movie in their queues on Netflix! I will let you know as soon as I can go see it on the big screen!

As for Mia, I can't wait to see her in Hanna, in which she stars with Cate Blanchett!

You're thinking of Saoirse Ronan ("Atonement"), actually. Mia isn't in this movie, though they do look a teeny bit alike.
