Michael talks about Shame

Sasha Stone of Awards Daily saw 'Shame' at Telluride and says, "Shame is, to my mind, a master work, perhaps even a masterpiece".

The Venezia 66 is the jury at the Venice Film Festival that does the honor of handing out the Best Actor award for 2011. Michael has two films showing there... I wish him the best of luck in winning for one of these performances.

Thank you Giorgia for signing the Guestbook!

Don't mention it!
I love his speeches, he can be serious when it's requested and a total jackass two minutes later, wonderful.
ps Simone, I sent you an e-mail, did you get it?

I'm really looking forward to seeing this film-- not that it's an easy subject, by any means, but McQueen and Fassbender are such a fantastic combination, and it's so good to have a really thought-provoking film come out from behind all the typical Hollywood dreck!

Yes Giorgia, I got your email, thanks!

I agree with you Mieze, the state of the film industry seems to cater to the lowest common denominator. When Shame does come to the US, it won't be at your local AMC theater, this is pure high art.
