Tonight, Let's Celebrate Fassy Style!

Michael Fassbender is too Hot for Oscar!
This beautiful man could have been on the red carpet tonight in Hollywood, but he's not. He's at home in London, and the people he's spending time with at this very moment, are the luckiest people on the planet. In honor of Michael Fassbender this evening, as most eyes are focused on Hollywood, I just got finished watching Jane Erye, now I'm going to watch Centurion, then I'll watch X-Men: First Class, and then I'll watch something else, maybe, stream it from Netflix, like, Blood Creek, why the hell not.

What Fassy movie are you watching tonight instead of the Oscars?

Simone Oh you're right, too gladly would spend the evening with him watching for even the dumbest films in cinema history.

I'm watching First Class right now... and I have to cook dinner, I'm starving.

Ales said...

ok cook something for me too :)

When Darren Criss from Glee is at the Oscars, but Michael Fassbender isn't, there's something seriously wrong with the industry.

And that's all I'll say about that. I haven't yet decided what Michael film I'm going to watch.

Jane Eyre :)

Jane Eyre, too. Ilove it :)

I'm watching Pan's Labyrinth for the 5th time, and I can't believe Sergi Lopez, the guy who played Captain Vidal didn't get nominated for a certain award who's show we are boycotting. Some movies get recognized by that awards show, and others are far above it. By the way, should I watch Hellboy, or Eastern Promises. Which?

Márcia said...

Eastern Promises.

Jean Dujardin won Best Actor... at least it wasn't Clooney!

So I just finished watching Jane Eyre for the first time and am so impressed with the movie. I boycotted the Academy for not nominating Michael for Shame. Thank you Simone for having such a wonderful place for us Fassbender fans :)

dont know why but adore (after Hunger of course) fish tank.

I agree with you Manuela! Fish Tank is a great movie! We totally understand how Mia is led to love Connor and we live the whole story through her eyes and feelings! Connor is so ambiguous and irresistible; just the perfect character for a subtle actor with a huge magnetism! I can't help watching this movie at least once a week! (Here in France there's a Dujardin-mania, I'm a bit fed up with that!)

I spent the evening watching 300 and Centurion and enjoyed those much more than the Oscars. I signed the Guestbook as well! Take care!

Can anyone watched Angel? I'm curious how Michael fell there

émilie said...

Ales, I re-watched Angel a few days ago. Michael is perfect for his character! Awesome how he manages to look older and devastated when he's back from the war, don't you think? Today in France everyone is talking about Dujardin's winning the Oscar (even my 8 year old pupils were aware of that this morning!)

Simone said...

I'm genuinely happy for Jean Dujardin and Meryl Streep, two very deserving winners. France must be very proud as Jean is the first Frenchman to win the Best Actor Oscar.

Ales said...

The most I liked Michael in the X-Men and the Centurion, which is why I can not wait to see his project Cuchulain.

Of course I am happy that they won, Jean Dujardin and Meryl Streep (she was very pretty creative, and fit it to the ceremony)

Anonymous said...

Wow, Dujardin is the first Frenchman to win? That's unbelievable.

I was getting a little bit depressed this morning thinking that the next time we'll likely see Michael is production/set images from The Counselor when it starts shooting in May. But then I remembered the Genie awards in Canada on march 8th. Michael is nominated for A Dangerous Method... I hope he goes!

Watched Mysterious murder of Charles Bravo. Fassbender makes such an amazing and convincing evil barrister.

Ales said...

Anonymous 10:29 If he is nominated it certainly appears and thanks for the info :)

When they start at all the pictures up to 12 years?

Anonymous said...

Ales: it was first rumored that 12YAS production would start in May, but now that honor is going to The Counselor. Who knows if Steve McQueen adjusted his schedule to accommodate Michael (I wouldn't be surprised), but now rumor says 12YAS will start shooing in later 2012, likely the end of August or beginning of September. Who knows when Michael will fit the top-secret Scorsese project in his schedule, or what the size of that role is...

Ales said...

It is getting very interesting, would just burned all the projects and not all at once suddenly knocked on the head

Manuela said...

i know he needs a rest and he is preparing for new roles and of course Scott is waiting for him...but i so miss him. not much news interview...any news about Pitch black heist?

sorry but i sill cant get all these awards rain for artist...im happy that @COUPLE@ didnt take unckle oscar last night and i love Dujardin but ...really...sweet nice charming kind but not take breath away

It DOES feel really quiet now after the glut of publicity for Oscar season. We also need to find out the production schedules for Cuchulainn and the XMFC sequel....

Ales said...

Manuela I agree with you something quietly last of him, I would like to hear something interesting (I'm not talking about imaginary rumors), but having the that he gives charity, he visits a country, some new productions, what any of them :)

Right? ANYTHING but personal life rumors. Those are so dreary, and usually fake/sensationalized. I want more career news!

They completely lost me when they included DiCaprio for J. Edgar but not Mulligan for Shame.

dshultz said...

@Marcia

I did end up watching Eastern Promises.

The only reason I didn't watch a Fassy movie is because it would have reminded me too much of the-award-that-must-not-be-named.

Good can not all, of his career, but not all stupid rumors

Here is something new about Michael and not a rumour :)

OMG good for him! What a great cause... this industry needs an injection of youth and energy.

And he and Ridley Scott are bankrolling the winner to make a film!
