Update on The Counselor and Other Things

Sometimes I feel like an octopus because I have so many hands in different jars, so when there is no news on the Fassy front, it allows me to breathe and work on other stuff. However, I finally saw something just now that reports a new cast member on Ridley Scott's 'The Counselor'. Because I don't watch TV, I don't watch Breaking Bad, but that should not be mistaken for me not knowing about the show, and not being interested in renting the series DVD to check it out. It sounds like a show right up my alley. So it pleases me to learn that one of the stars of Breaking Bad, Dean Norris has joined the cast of The Counselor, in a yet unconfirmed role.

What's really cool about the article from Digital Spy is that it noted a quote from Brad Pitt that I don't recall reading before, he says, "Ridley gave me my first break into the big leagues. And I'm a Fassbender fanatic too." So, Pitt is a Fassinator too, that's all kinds of excellent! Read the article here.

In other news, per some recent tweets, Michael has shaven off his ginger beard and is prancing around Broadway Market and London Fields and just chilling between film productions. He's been spotted at several pubs, and people who didn't know that they were Fassinators, have taken eye-spy type pictures of him with their cameras. He has been hanging with his "mates", and was reported even buying a person/fan a Starbucks coffee. It's all good. I have also been cleaning up my twitter account and tumblr of... annoying kids, so, I'm not getting as much silly junk.

Hey, I wanted to ask ya'll a question. Pretty much since FF has been up, the theme has been it's current thing, plus or minus a few things. Like since I created my Theatre of Zen blog, I have  noticed updates in the web design applications that are not available for FF in it's current webpage design, that I would like to implement here. Would you like to see a major change in the background color and layout of this blog? Especially if you come here often, would you like to see something different? What exactly? One person emailed me a few days ago suggesting that I look into the iPad APP. I am absolutely positively ignorant of that and not ashamed to admit it, so if YOU had an iPad and YOU think it would be a good idea for me to look into it, please let me know, cuz I don't know jack. I don't have an iPad, nor an iPhone, I just have an iPod. I'm so low tech that it's embarrassingly cool. Please just toss out ideas and don't hold back. Help me help YOU get the most out of Fassinating Fassbender.

And btw, someone asked me a question at tumblr the other day asking me if I knew of an unofficial official Michael Fassbender site.

She asked moi. So, I told her. ;-)

Fassy agrees dammit!

I like both of your blogs. And personaly I like the style of the FF blog.I find it very clear. I'm an android fan (and I don't mean David ;)) I'm an owner of an android tablet and that seems to be different then apple. For example there isn't yet an pinterest app for android. I don't know much about the Apple stuff. But I think your FF blog is now 'working' on both systems and I don't know if that will be the case if you changed it. I get the updates from the FF blog through Google reader and it works very well. So, what ever you decision will be I'll follow you like a puppy.

Excellent feedback Hupsakeek. As someone who doesn't have an android tablet, this is good information to know.

Thanks,

I'd like the current simple design, it's less distracting. Besides, sometimes the internet can excruciatingly slow here. the simple design are easier to have access to. I'm not sure I could open the pages if you change the design too much...

Thanks for your feedback Marisa. I too value the keep it simple aspect. Far too many blogs are bogged down with distracting things that take away from the true purpose of the website/blog.

If anything, I would like to seek someone's professional help in creating some Fassy related designs to spice things up here.

I like the design of this blog, it's clean and simple but sometimes a bit of spice is also good;)

I like the blog as is. I wouldn't mind a change if you want to spice it up a bit but I'm fine either way.

FF is cool enough as is but of course I wouldn't mind if the background featured a pic of Mr. Fassbender :)

I don't know how you would do this- but it would really cool if the browser arrow was a tiny pic of MF smiling :D

But I enjoy FF as is the same :)

I'm in agreement with the other comments; keeping the functionality of the site and maybe redesigning the background.

I love the idea of the arrow being a tiny pic of Michael smilling( Sidra)!
