Prometheus at Home

I know that most Fassy fans who visit FF enjoyed Prometheus the first time around, but I'm wondering how those who were iffy about it, feel about the film now after they may have seen it again since buying the DVD, if they bought it? I reckon those who weren't too receptive towards the film, still bought it because of Michael's prominent role in the film. So in that case, if you bought it but was lukewarm to the film, after seeing the DVD, have you changed your mind about it? Have the extra special features provide more clarity about the plot and the whole Alien universe?

Because I've been so busy with class and studies, I have not been able to watch the DVD that I ordered and received via Amazon.com last Wednesday. I hope to watch it this Wednesday night, to give myself a break.

Thoughts?

I enjoyed Prometheus the first time around for sure. On Blu-ray I enjoyed the commentary from Ridley Scott it was nice to know what he was thinking while filming. The deleted and alternate scenes made me go hmm? You could see where they were trying to go with the story. Also, you get David8 in the grey shirt which was one of my favorite parts of the film tbh :)

In the bonus, I was surprised to see how good Ridley is at drawing. He's an all round artist! I really, fully appreciated Prometheus after the second viewing. Maybe because the first time I saw it, it was dubbed into French...

I enjoyed Prometheus much more on the DVD for the most part because I could watch was undubbed, here I can totally relate to what Emilie had said. And the voice tembre, and intonations, they really did large part of the job.
And as for the alternative scenes, I really liked the last conversation between David and Shaw before they went off as it was in the film. I thought the alternate version was too harsh.
And various David outfits were...hmmm...inspiring indeed))))))))

Was so excited for this film and it didn't let me down. If you sit through the amazing content they put on the special features disc, there are some AWESOME Fassbender moments of him being... Well, himself and having a laugh. For someone playing a robot, he certainly has the best spirit of the lot. There's a great Titanic moment, something about 16 inches, and mentions of a few Pygmies. If that sparks your attention, I suggest you give it a look. Don't let the wires get in the way and stop you ;)

That's very cool Varekai, I'm glad you enjoyed Prometheus at home. Well, tonight is the night, I think I can finally watch it... but, then there's the possible final game between the Detroit Tigers vs the damn NY Yankees as the Tigers can beat them again and go on to the World Series.

:)

Just a quick tease that highlights Fassbender's character David. There's 7 more hours where this comes from if you have the BluRay. Enjoy.

I know this isn't really even on the main page anymore, but if you ever re-check this area, here's another video you might enjoy.
