Yes, fingers crossed! Of course I made this resolution, I hope there will be a Twelve Years A Slave premiere in Paris, as it happened for Shame...
I am. It's a mission.. Yee haw!
Was just thinking about a cunning plot to do it yesterday)))))) TGI Fassy everyone!!!
Well..I'm that kind of type who suffers from star struck. (Don't know if it's the right word for it, but I'll hope you know what I mean). So IF I bump into him...I will stare and drool. But if I bump into him with some wine in my veins....then it will be a whole different story. So I'll not taking any risk and drink a bottle of wine each day, cause you'll never know when it will happen
I don't know if I would actively seek him out as I would be disappointed if I did not accomplish my goal. I guess I would love to bump into him and if I heard he would be near me I might put myself in the vicinity. But I have never really though of it as making it a goal. Now you people have me thinking… Hmm.
TGIFassy y'all! Happy New Year and I hope you all accomplish your missions ;)
I'd love to meet him but I would be more then content to see him from afar; it's one of those things where I wouldn't want to invade his privacy or pester....Plus, I'm afraid I'd look like a blubbering idiot with glazed eyes as he simply breathed, lol
@Hupsakeek: ha-ha, a bottle of wine each day!!!)))))) that's the spirit!!!
I agree Maria. I probably would not be able to speak. I would end up looking like an idiot. It's probably better that I don't meet him then. :(So maybe I better invest in a great camera and lens (paparazzi style). So at least I can take some nice pictures of him. Of course I would be respectful of his privacy.
Some of you ladies don't give yourself enough credit. If you have the opportunity to meet Michael, you will be amazed at how you keep your shit together. He's gorgeous, but not otherworldly so which would cause you to lose your shit. He's very sweet and welcoming. Just be polite and respectful, and you will find yourself in the company of a man for a few seconds that you will cherish for life. He's a human being like any other man you have met, and the more composed you are, the better it will be for both of you. :-)
Hey everyone! I suppose you all remember People magazine and their sexiest man of 2012. And now I present to you 50 Best-Dressed Men in Britain 2013 by GQ. And if you expect to find Michael on top of the list, I'll have to disappoint you. He's not even IN the list. Where are all of them looking, I wonder...Here's the link to the disgrace of GQ Style section. Enjoy, so to say...http://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/style/articles/2013-01/01/gq-best-dressed-men-list-2013/viewgallery/49
@ Vera, they only show the top ten on the link you supplied. Maybe he is #32? In any case I don't expect Michael to be on any best dressed list. I think Michael is an awesome actor, but his style is lacking. However I don't really care as his best trait is his smile. He wears that well.I also think he is the most gorgeous man on the planet even without knowing how to dress. The times he looks best are when I suspect he has had assistance. In reality though most of the time I feel he is wearing too little. It's a good thing I don't have heart problems.@Simone if I ever meet him I hope I don't let you down.
@ Vera, I saw all 50. No Fassy. Hopefully his style will improve and get on that list in the future. Thankfully here at Fassinating Fassbender we aren't judging him on his clothes. ;)
@Martha, agree with you. Maybe not on top, but after No 17 and No 31 (not to mention No 22 LOOOOOL) I at least hoped...maybe for No 49? ))))))))
Martha, you can never let me down, if you were to meet Michael, that's between you and him, I'll be out of the equation.Regarding his fashion... I personally love it. I like his flip flops and his favorite pair of jeans and camoflauge cargo pants. He dresses beautifully on the red carpet when the ocassion calls for it. But other than that, I think his personal everyday sense of fashion is a breath of fresh air.Michael is a real guy, he dresses for himself, not to make a top 10 list.
I'm with Simone on Michael's fashion sense. Even though I feel like taking off his unironed t-shirts and... ironing them :-P, I love the fact he wears those crumpled clothes and tracksuits and old jeans and flip flops. No fuss. Very real.
I'm sure Michael could care less that he is not on this list. Yes he does what he wants. In his red carpet appearances he dresses up more but sometimes the clothes don't fit right. He needs some help with that.I guess I do not like his wrinkled t-shirts as well. I mean not that t-shirts should be ironed. I suspect he doesn't know how to pack and thats result we see. Mostly I don't really care. His acting is more important and his personality is what endeared him to me.I would take him as he is, and if I did run into him I doubt I would be paying attention to his clothes or shoes. I'm sure his gorgeous smile would captivate me. Sigh. If only…
