TGiFassy! 222

This beautiful image of Michael was posted at tumblr a few days ago, so it is definitely the photo of the week! It makes me wish that I washed my black turtleneck sweater so that I could wear it today, in a sweet, homage kind of way.

Next Friday will be March 1st, and that is when I will  modify the fundraiser page to post a goal for our first fundraiser. Based on the pace of how much we have raised to this point, it will allow me to gauge how to frame a fundraiser goal. I'm greatly impressed with the 20 donations we have received thus far, and some people may look at it and think... 'well, they have raised enough already eh'? No... no we have not. At the end of next week, there will be a full month before Michael's April 2nd birthday and Fassinating Fassbender has a lot of readers and fans and I know many have plans to donate closer to the end of the fundraiser, if not specifically on Michael's birthday - I will make a second donation at that time too.

A Fassinator asked if they can make an anonymous donation. Yes you can... you can even use initials, or make the donation in honor of someone else. Additionally, one donor had difficulty making her donation over the weekend, so she sent me her donation via paypal and I turned those monies around and used my debit card to make the donation in her name. So I'm here to help you make your donation as well. If you have any specific questions, please let me know.

Thank you and TGiFassy!

Happy Friday all! As far as the fundraiser this is such a great cause. If anyone has any doubt of it just going to The Bike Experience website you will know that this is truly something else. I think I read that they need something like 9 or 10 thousand pounds for this season. Any amount will surely be well received.

I know you like this turtleneck pic but I personally prefer the one posted yesterday. There is another from that same series that is more of a close up that I like to stare at. Sigh...

@Dionne, they also have a Facebook page and they have lots of pictures there from the different biking experiences they have had. On the website Talan keeps a blog. I'm pretty sure that Talan is the guy that picks up the helmet at the end of the video. I was both on the site and the facebook page and let me tell you I am really impressed with this Talan guy and his team people.

I don't wear turtle necks as my neck is so short I would look like I had a neck brace on. LOL

@Simone HA, ha, ha I never have thought of it. As I had lamented my short neck for my entire life I should see it as a blessing them. I am harder to KILL! Yeah! Hilarious.

Hi, I lurk at the AwardsDaily forums (I don't have an account--I'm shy & they're a bit scary). I wondered if you had DM'ed any of the LA residents for more info and their perspective on 12 Years a Slave and MF's performance. Would it be possible to share that info in the comments section of your blog?

@unknown... I have not pm'd anyone, if they are shy to share additional information in public, I don't see the need to pm to pry out more. I gathered a good enough gist from what has been posted. We'll get more information eventually from people who aren't so paranoid.

Ah, thanks for responding!

If you haven't seen this article:

It's a good read and Michael is mentioned a couple of times. The writer is Mark Harris, an Oscar blogger. Interesting that he lumps in MF with the rest of these "movie stars". I didn't realize he was at that point in his career yet.

Hmmm. My first impression of this picture (and the other of this "set") was it is photoshopped - the other more than this one. Maybe it is because of the way he holds his head.

Just my two cents.
