Keep Calm and Think About Fassbender

As you have probably seen pics already, Michael arrived in Los Angeles on Friday to presumably start filming 'Jane Got a Gun'. One mere glance at his IMDB page and you can declare that he's Hollywood's busiest actor! And surely before the year is up, he'll add on at least half a dozen more projects to see him through to early 2015! If you wonder how he can stay so slim, it's because he's always working.

This time last year I was in the midst of planning my trip to Killarney - I can't wait to visit again, but that will be in another two years at least. So I'll have to settle for getting my Irish on for something local on St. Patrick's Day (March 17).

I have a question to pose to you all. I ordered a very cool blue 'Keep Calm and Put Vedder On' t-shirt to benefit the Autism Awareness charity that some fellow Pearl Jammers created.  The t-shirts are brilliant in design and the material - each cost only $20 with $5 going to charity. The text font is the standard font used in all the 'Keep Calm' mementos, but instead of a crown above the word 'Keep', there is an ocean wave. Eddie Vedder loves to surf, so it's a very fitting symbol to represent for Vedder. So I was thinking how wonderful it would be to see if there is interest in Fassinators having our own Keep Calm Fassbender t-shirt, and using a four-leaf clover as his symbol... or some other symbol that one would easily recognize as synonymous to Michael. And what kind of calming message would you like to read? 'Keep Calm and Smile like Fassbender', or 'Keep Calm and Watch some Fassbender'? It's just a thought. Let me know what you think.

You can visit Limelight Impressions here to check out their Keep Calm Vedder shirts. These products are made in Wisconsin.

Ahem, for those who need to be educated on the man...

Eddie Vedder - a musical God and lead singer/writer of Pearl Jam

Why don't you use a shark smile, that would go wonderful with the first slogan?

(to tell the truth I never heard about Eddie Vedder. Who is he?)

After a busy weekend I've now time to catch up on your blogs....
After seeing the pic with the fender cap I immediately think of KEEP CALM WHEN YOU IN A FENDER BENDER or KEEP CALM WHEN YOU SEE A SHARK (only fassinators will know the deeper meaning of this)

@Kruschelkasten Eddie Vedder is my husband from a past life, he is the lead singer of Pearl Jam, an American rock band I have been a fan of since 1992. He's the only man I would push Fassy aside for.

Eddie Vedder. Remember that name gf! Google him if you must.

:D

@ Hupsakeek, yeah, I could use a set of big smiley teeth - that would go well with 'Keep calm when you see a shark'. Smart! ;)

Can you imagine his face if he saw a fan wearing that? LOL!

@Hupsakeek I LOVE your idea! I'd get one. I'd just die if he saw me wearing it and then he'd have to give me his shark smile. Sigh…

@Simone, I was on Michael's Wikipedia page last night and I don't know if you are aware of this but there is a direct link to Fassinating Fassbender on there. I had not noticed it before.

:)

@Martha, yes, the blog listing has been there quite a while. There was some controversy over a year ago where wiki didn't want to reference "fan pages", but they have allowed the current ones there to remain as we have been deemed credible sources, especially since the interview has been cited in the wiki bio. :-)
