Do tell us what you think about #pitchblackheist. We recommend turning the lights off for the best viewing experience http://www.film4.com/film4-productions/shorts/pitch-black-heist?short …

@Film4 it's not working. :/

@FassFass Ah, sorry! Shorts on the site is a new thing; it's only for UK/Eire at the moment, but we're hoping to review that as we go along.

@Film4 You've got to be kidding me. Pls next time note that so that US folks can be aware! At this pace, I'll never see the film.

John Maclean's PITCH BLACK HEIST starring Michael Fassbender premieres online on @1pm tomorrow:

John Maclean's Bafta-winning short about two safe crackers who enact a pitch-black heist, starring Michael Fassbender and Liam Cunningham. Free to watch from 1pm, 28th March.

Note that this is GMT, so mind your time zone. [Fingers crossed that I can watch this!]

Great! I was lucky enough to see it when it was on You Tube (before being removed) and I loved it! Both Michael and Liam were excellent, and it was elegant and original. Simone, I hope you'll be able to watch it!

I may have to excuse myself from work and watch this on my ipod. :)

I will try to catch it tomorrow.

It's good, hope y'all get to see it!

ARGH! Well I guess I play the waiting game... again. -_-

It's misleading because I can click on other films to watch, but not Heist.

This is discrimination against North Americans. LOL!

Simone, if you use a service like TunnelBear, your computer will appear as if it is "calling" from a UK ISP, and you should be able to watch the film.

Damn, this is really disappointing. And it's really not nice of them to make it sound as if everybody can watch it and then not :(

@April, I will check out TunnelBear when I get home. It's just that the wifi here at work is awesome fast, whereas at home, it's just regular "high speed" internet via my phone line.

Thanks!

You'll have to spend $5, unfortunately, as their data cap for a free account is 500 MB/month. But I've subscribed/unsubscribed a number of times when there was UK content I wanted to watch (like the Olympics), and have never had a problem with the service.
