TGiF 503

This year in September marks the fifth anniversary of Fassinating Fassbender. And along with recognizing that, I have changed the template of the blog and we've had our first successful fundraiser. Now I'm wondering if expansion to Facebook is something that is inevitable and if we should explore it. Please let me know your thoughts. I'm not a big fan of Facebook but I do realize that many people live and breathe by it. Would you utilize/like/subscribe to Fassinating Fassbender at Facebook?

I would subscribe to show support though I'm hardly on FB these days.

You definitely would widen the scope of people who come on here through FB (I don't know if that's what you're looking for or not).

I do know that out of the many websites I do adore this one because of the respect shown towards each other and of course Michael as an actor.

I have been on FB since 2003-4, I was like one of the first 2 million subscribers or so... but it's never been my cup of Tea. I really can't be arsed with it, but as a communications scholar, there is no doubt that it is a social networking tool that so many people enjoy using.

I just want to get an idea of what FF readers think about this and then I'll make my decision. It also stems from my conversation with a local cosmetic beauty boutique who has left their twitter account lay in dormancy since late 2011, but their FB account is updated daily. They prefer FB over twitter and the info updated via FB is very informative and interactive.

While I don't want to spread Fassinating Fassbender too thin and have my hands in too many pots, I cannot deny the obvious 'missing link' to a FB account.

We'll see what happens. Thanks Maria.

Very interesting points. Hmm, maybe give it a trial run?
