The Fassinating Fassbender Fundraiser for The Bike Experience is Open!

The Bike Experience
I know Michael Fassbender is proud that the Fassinating Fassbender community is coming together for the second annual fundraiser to benefit The Bike Experience in honor of Michael's birthday on April 2nd! And you should be proud too if you supported the fundraiser last year, and plan to do so again this year. If you weren't part of the community last year and want to make a donation for this excellent cause, I guarantee you that you would feel proud in doing so.

To start off the fundraiser today, February 27 through March 31st (5pm EST), please go to -

JustGiving - Sponsor me now!

All you have to do is click on the badge above and it will take you to the donation page. Once there, please bookmark it so that you can share the link readily with others and to check on the progress of the fundraiser.

If you experience difficulties making a donation, please email me and I will be happy to assist you. You can make your donation anonymously as well as hide the donation amount from the public. Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated by The Bike Experience. Our goal is £1000, and for us Americans, you know that we get royally screwed over with the exchange rate. My £20 donation is actually $33 on my credit card. But I'm very glad that I had the extra bucks to spare to kick off the donations. Multiple donations are very welcomed!

This year is particularly special because Michael has been nominated for an Academy Award for 12 Years a Slave and his name recognition has firmly placed him on the A-list. So going into this first weekend, and with the Oscars on Sunday night, please help start the fundraiser off strongly with a show of support and good luck wishes to Michael by making your donation(s) over the next few days. I'll be providing steady updates throughout the fundraising period.

Lastly, if we make our fundraiser goal, everyone who makes a donation will be entered into a raffle to win some unique gifts, and there will be two winners! The first place winner will win an authentic St. Patrick's Day Detroit Irish Crest t-shirt. Little do people know, Detroit has one of the highest concentrations of Irish folks and our St. Patty's Day parade make the national news some years. And the second place winner will win a kick ass 'I Have People in Detroit' bag. When I saw this bag while out shopping over the weekend, I promised myself I would get one. The sentiment on the bag is part cool, part intimidating, and all the way awesome!  Winners will be announced on Michael's birthday, April 2nd.

Remember, in the spirit of fundraising, we're all doing this for a wonderful cause, The Bike Experience, to help disabled persons experience the thrill again, or for the first time, riding on a modified motorcycle!

Thank you!

Hupsakeek said... know how to motivate people to donate! Just got home from work (a 14 hour day) so tomorrow I'll donate, can't find the energy now.
I hope we raise some good money for a good cause!
