Fassbender in 2016

The first official still from Assassin's Creed was revealed yesterday, a whole three years after it was first announced that Michael was starring in and producing this popular video game. It will be released on December 21, 2016.  As I think about it, although Michael will be very busy filming all throughout 2016 (The Snowman, Prometheus 2, etc), he may in fact, not have any new films come out in theaters before Assassin's Creed (duh, X-Men: Apocalypse will be out in the summer of 2016). Yes, there is still Trespass Against Us, a small Indie Irish/British film that may come out in select theaters sometime in 2016. But you already know how little seen these fantastic small indie films starring Michael have been treated in the states. Nice reviews, but too 'foreign' and Indie for the masses here in the States. Then you have The Light Between the Oceans which has a January 2017 UK release date. One can only assume when it will be released in the states. Will it be a month or two before or after the UK?

The year 2016 promises to be yet another great year for Michael and his fans! Later this week, FF will post the 2015 Year in Review of Michael Fassbender, and then I'll take off to Palm Springs for the film festival gala for exclusive fan coverage of this event.

Hi Simone, there's two new Assassin Creed stills released today, they are more interesting than the one released by EW. Also, you forgot X-Men: Apocalypse comes out in May 2016 around the world.

Dang, you're right. for some crazy reason, I forgot Apocalypse was coming out in 2016, but thought instead it was 2017. Thanks.
