TGIF 12.18.15

It has been an incredibly busy week for me, but regular updates on Michael Fassbender have been posted all this week at Fassinating Fassbender Facebook. I still have a review to write up on Macbeth (4 out of 5), which will be posted sometime this weekend. Michael and his Steve Jobs film have been faring well on year end critics lists, most notably with Michael winning his third Best Actor honor this week at the Phoenix Critics Circle awards, and Jobs coming in at #2 on the well read Peter Travers' RollingStone magazine Top 10 films of the year list. It has also been announced that Michael's Norwegian film, The Snowman, will be released in October 2017, with filming starting in January 2016.

Michael is so busy that it's becoming a fun challenge to keep up with his activities, and there's no sign of him slowing down. As each day passes, I'm getting more and more excited about the upcoming Palm Springs International Film Festival awards gala. Fassinating Fassbender will provide exclusive coverage from a fan perspective at this incredible event which will have a who's who of Hollywood, and The Powers That Be under the same roof. It's pretty much a pre-Oscar event and I will be sharing more information about this after Christmas. And like in years past, I will post the annual Year of Michael Fassbender 2015 review the week of December 28th.

Fassy has a swedish girlfriend and he is doing a norwegian film, you got things a bit confused there. And it's been announced The Snowman stars shooting in January 18th. We learned last month that Alien had been pushed back a few months, there's still no word when it will begin filming but most reports say it's probably around the summer.

Yeah, like I said, I've been busy and things are very crazy. I'll make the corrections.
