Michael Monday 4

My much needed holiday break is over and I am glad to be back home from London and Paris. I played tour guide this time with family and let's just say that it's easier to travel solo.  I'm shocked and pleased about the decision for England to leave the EU - it was amazing arriving into London hearing that Brexit update from the pilot. There was lots of gasps throughout the plane.

Meanwhile, today is a holiday here in the states, it is Independence Day, the Fourth of July! I'm going to see Independence Day: Resurgence later this afternoon. I tried to watch it at the Odeon in London on Friday, but the 6pm and 8:45pm showings were sold out.

Since there was not much news about Michael released during my holiday break, hopefully there will be something new this week.

Happy 4th of July!

Like half the country I was shocked and angry at the UK's decision. I hope the world will not judge all of us for it. There are many of us who love being part of the wider global community and feel betrayed. Scotland will have another independence referendum and it will be interesting for Northern Ireland as it has stoked debates about unity again. I hope things remain peaceful there. At least it seems to have made people more interested in politics which is a good thing!
