Michael Monday 21 (US Election Day edition)

Stay calm and grin like Fassy!

Let's start the week off right with a gloriously happy Fassy picture! The four years long (seems like it) US presidential election campaign will finally come to a close on Tuesday, and I will be grinning ear to ear, just like Michael Fassbender, once Hillary Clinton is declared the winner and first female President of this country that pretends to be the leader of the free world, but yet has never been brave or open minded enough to elect a female President!

I know that many of you are very nervous about the election, especially those of you who are not citizens and cannot vote in this election. However, what happens here in the US does have an impact, good or bad, on the rest of the world. That is why it is so important that enough Americans vote for the most professional, mature, intelligent, compassionate, and politically seasoned and savvy person to become our next President. That person is Hillary Clinton; if this needs to be stated again for clarity. No, she's not perfect, but who is, especially politicians? By nature, ALLLLLLLL politicians lie, exaggerate and mislead to various degrees and extremes, for legit reasons, and not so cool or legit reasons. She's been in politics longer than I have been alive, so yes, she has some shady political funk on her, like MOST politicians the world over! You think she has been acting like an Avon lady all this time? She's a female politician in a male politician world!

Oftentimes, she had to do things just like most male politicians to get ahead and get some things done! But at least she is trying to be a beacon of light and hope to the world if she is elected. It has sickened me beyond measure to see the level of misogyny espoused by the Republican candidate, his equally pathetic and confused supporters, the media, and both men and women who dare to be "undecided". This election has proven to me once and for all, that the most feared and horrific type of human being on this planet, is an intelligent, strong, independent, educated woman with power. Real Power! Such a woman forces weak men to question their self-worth and masculinity, and she also poses a threat to a lot of women who believe that men should be the only ones in charge as they believe that women are less intelligent and more emotional than men and they believe that women need to just make other humans and cupcakes. Well I say fuck all that, and fuck the people who will not vote for Hillary Clinton!

Vote on Tuesday and show the world that we do care about the progress of our country and our standing in the free world to help the rest of the planet find solutions to the multitude of serious problems we need to deal with together. We cannot counteract our evolution as a compassionate society by electing a sexist, imbecile sociopath as our President... that would be the end of our country as we know it! Vote for Hillary and proudly tell to everyone within earshot, I'm With Her!

/end off topic political rant

My comment today is about you! The best, most concise and clear words about the election I have heard in a month of Sundays are yours. I hope everyone who reads them will vote for Hillary. We need to get that vote out. I've already cast my vote (although a U.S. citizen I do not live in the U.S.A. and can vote earlier than Tuesday the 8th) and I hope it will count in bringing the first female president to the United States. It's about time! Countries like India, Bangladesh, England, Germany and Israel have had female presidents and prime ministers for many years, and many years ago. It is inconceivable that the leader of the free world has been so remiss on that score. So get out there tomorrow and do your part to keep America the great democracy it is!
